1. Talk to your neighbors, people who live in your building or people who have the same landlord. Often one landlord has many properties. Rent strike inherently carries a huge risk, especially in a city like Seattle where housing is so scarce. However, it is much more difficult for a landlord to single out anyone in particular if all of their tenants refuse to pay together.

If you have a management company, a quick google search will often turn up the names of other properties they own.
2. Write a strike declaration and make it public.
3. Find other people doing the same thing and start to network how we will support each other.
